NCA qualified. See attached for cover letter and resume.

Anuradha Dias (Posted December 19, 2025)

I am an internationally trained lawyer based in Kitchener, currently completing the Law Practice Program (LPP) at Toronto Metropolitan University. I have passed the Ontario Barrister and Solicitor Licensing Examinations and hold an LLB from Staffordshire University and an LLM from the University of Melbourne.

Through the LPP, I work on simulated client files across corporate commercial law, real estate, civil litigation, criminal, family, and wills and estates, performing work comparable to that of an articling student. My experience includes client interviews and legal research; drafting pleadings, contracts, wills, powers of attorney, and real estate documentation; as well as docketing.

In my current role as a Legal Operations Associate, I support legal teams in a fast-paced environment by managing document workflows and production. I also bring international experience from Sri Lanka, where I worked on cross-border corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and foreign investment matters. My responsibilities included contract drafting, due diligence, regulatory compliance, data room management, and coordinating closings across jurisdictions.

These experiences will enable me to contribute immediate value to your team. I am now seeking a Work Experience placement for January–April 2026 to complete my LSO licensing requirements and would be grateful to be considered for any available position. Thank you.

Ana Beatriz Rodrigues (Posted October 31, 2025)

I am an internationally trained lawyer with strong experience in litigation, contracts, and regulatory compliance, currently completing the Ontario licensing process through the Law Practice Program (LPP) at Toronto Metropolitan University. I hold a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, which deepened my understanding of Canadian legal principles and practice standards.

Through the LPP’s Virtual Law Firm simulation, I manage real-world legal scenarios, from client interviews and legal research to drafting contracts, court materials, and advocacy documents, mirroring the day-to-day responsibilities of an articling student. I am developing a well-rounded skill set in both litigation and solicitor work, under the guidance of licensed practitioners and experienced professionals. The combination of domestic learning and international experience enables me to approach legal problems with precision, strategy, and adaptability.

I am now seeking a Work Experience placement (January–April 2026) where I can contribute to a firm’s ongoing files, draft legal documents, and support advocacy or transactional work. Supervising lawyers are eligible for up to 12 CPD hours through the LSO for mentorship.

If your practice is looking for a detail-oriented, resourceful, and practice-ready candidate, I would be pleased to connect at beatriz.rodrigues@torontomu.ca.

Aline Kecur de Campos (Posted October 22, 2025)
I am an internationally trained lawyer with Canadian Civil litigation experience gained as a law clerk, where I handled debt collection cases for major Canadian banks. I hold a Professional Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. I am currently completing the Ontario licensing process through the Law Practice Program at Toronto Metropolitan University. The program consists of a four-month practical training phase during which I manage files, conduct legal research, draft a variety of legal documents, interview clients, and develop courtroom skills through advocacy training and exposure to court procedures. This is followed by a four-month Work Experience placement from January to April 2026. LPP candidates have the same rights of appearance and responsibilities as articling students. I am seeking a Work Experience placement for Winter 2026 (January to April) in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. Supervising lawyers are eligible to earn up to twelve CPD hours for their mentorship. I would be happy to connect at aline.kecur@torontomu.ca.

SEEKING SUMMER STUDENT PLACEMENT

Dabby Okoronkwo (Posted January 23, 2026)

Are you looking for a top-notch summer student in 2026, who has previous administrative experience in a law firm, has a passion for advocacy, and has a first-class average in law school? Well, look no further! I have the experience, skills, and passion that makes me the perfect candidate.

My name is Dabby Okoronkwo, a first year law student at the University of Sussex in England. My advocacy journey began five years ago when I challenged a durag policy at my high school that unfairly targeted Black students. Through constructive conversations with the school board head, I explained the cultural and practical significance of durags, leading to the overturning of the policy. I have used these advocacy skills as an active member of my university’s Mooting society. This experience has strengthened my communication, teamwork, and research skills, as well as my understanding of legal principles. I am eager to bring this zealous advocacy into your law firm and to fight on behalf of your clients. Attending law school abroad has provided me with exposure to a different legal system, sharpening my comparative thinking and deepening my understanding of how law operates across jurisdictions. With my background in Philosophy, I bring unique views and strong critical, argumentative, writing, and ethical reasoning skills. In the summer of 2025, I worked at a family law firm. This role required anticipating the needs of clients and lawyers, making timely decisions in fast-paced situations, and responding accurately to new challenges. Having gained experience in family law, I am now ready to gain hands-on experience in any other legal area or continue to develop my experience in family law. To learn more about me, please email me at dabbyokoronkwo@yahoo.ca, or check out my Linkedin at https://www.linkedin.com/in/dabbyokoronkwo/ or my CV. And remember: “Pick Dabby—why settle for average when you can have savvy?”
