I am a UK-educated law graduate who has recently completed the NCA requirements to practice law in Canada. With an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Kent and a B.A. in Criminology and ICCIT from the University of Toronto, I bring a strong interdisciplinary foundation to the legal field. My experience includes working with the Ministry of the Attorney General at the Superior Court of Justice, assisting in court operations and document management, as well as supporting real estate and estates matters in a boutique Ontario law office. I have a demonstrated commitment to client service, legal research, and procedural accuracy, and I am now actively seeking an articling position where I can contribute meaningfully while continuing to grow as a legal professional in Canada. I am a passionate, driven, and experienced internationally-trained lawyer currently registered for licensing in Ontario. I hold an LL.B. (Common Law) with honours from Nigeria, an LL.M. from a United States chartered university in Hungary, a Ph.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, Toronto. I also hold the Certificate of Qualification (CQ) from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada/National committee on Accreditation. Over the years, I have worked variously in private, non-governmental settings as an advocate for social justice causes, as a policy researcher in a world-acclaimed think-tank, and as an academic at the tertiary education level. I am well published and will bring advanced research, writing, and advocacy skills to an articling position. Regardless of my background, I am adaptable and can work in a range of legal areas.
