Join family law lawyer and author, Anthony Keller, IN a session the will focus on advising attendees HOW to settle family law issues as swiftly and cheaply as possible without going to court. Mr. Keller will discuss alternative dispute resolution mechanisms available, INCLUDING negotiation and mediation. The end goal of is to create a settlement which allows the parties to PROCEED with their respective lives with dignity and if not affection, tolerance of the other spouse. Preserving the corpus of the assets acquired during cohabitation should be one of the prime goals.
Anthony (Tony) Keller practiced family law and civil litigation for almost 43 years. He acted as trial counsel in hundreds of family law trials, motion and appeals. He has participated in dozens of mediations and arbitrations. Tony earned his LLB from the University of Windsor in 1974 and was called to the bar in 1976, He began his law practice in Kitchener in 1976 continuing until his retirement in 2019. He became a member of the Arbitration and Mediation Institute of Ontario in 1992. Currently, he serves as council to Madorin Snyder LLP.
