Now in its 11th year, with a focus on an area that has changed and grown in that time, this program provides you with critical information on a wide variety of current and emerging legal issues for and about Indigenous peoples and communities. Our speakers provide their perspective on substantive, procedural, and policy topics to give you a deeper understanding of this area. They deliver insights and practical tips on addressing these issues to promote successful outcomes for your clients.

• Hear about First Nations policing and jurisdictional challenges
• Learn about the efforts to implement UNDRIP across Canada
• Understand the implications of Bill C-53, the Recognition of certain Métis Governments in Alberta, Ontario and Saskatchewan and Métis Self -Government Act
