Rob was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004 after receiving his Law Degree from the University of Ottawa law School. Rob also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen's University where he graduated with First Class Distinction. Rob's legal practice includes litigation of all types, focusing on Labour and Employment Law and Family Law. He has been a lawyer at Madorin Snyder LLP in Kitchener since 2004. Rob was elected as a Trustee of the WRLA in 2014 and is curently a member of the Family court Bench and Bar and is the Board Liaison for the Family Lawyers of Waterloo Region (FLOWR) Practice Group. As the recently elected Vice-President of the association, Rob is now Chair of the HR Committee.
Rob has regularly acted as a volunteer in the community and for other "Not for Profit" organizations. Most recently, Rob served as a Director of "Our Place", an Ontario Early Years Centre in Kitchener, and as a former Director of the Guelph Gargoyles, an Australian Rules Football Team.

Cynthia is an experienced courtroom advocate that strives to achieve effective and practical solutions to protect her client’s legal rights. Cynthia’s clients include individuals, small and large corporations as well as other associations, commercial landlords and tenants, and private and public lenders. She has been involved in various corporate and commercial disputes, commercial landlord and tenant matters, contractual disputes, franchise conflicts, professional negligence claims, land title defects, mortgage enforcement, and collection actions. Cynthia is also frequently retained by those within the construction industry including owners, contractors, sub-trades and material suppliers. In all cases, Cynthia is effective at examining her client’s interests, both legal and practical, and developing a strategy that best achieves results for her clients in the most cost-efficient and timely manner.
Cynthia also plays an important role mentoring future members of the legal community, including Giffen LLP lawyers and students as well as students at Conestoga College where Cynthia taught legal research and writing as well as employment law.
Cynthia has a long-standing belief in giving back to her community for which she was awarded the 2016 Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Woman of the Year Award in the professional category. Cynthia has contributed her time, skills and leadership serving in various capacities on a number of Boards, including as Chair of the Board of Trustees of KidsAbility School Authority, the Canadian Cancer Society and Focus for Ethnic Women. Cynthia has also been involved with the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, including the Women’s Caucus and as Vice-Chair of the Medical Malpractice Section. Most recently, Cynthia has been elected as Vice-President of the Waterloo Region Law Association Board of Trustees.

Kelly obtained her psychology degree from Queen’s University in 2002 and her law degree from Western University in 2005. Following her call to the bar of Ontario in 2006, Kelly practiced Corporate Law in Toronto before moving to Guelph and practicing in-house at two of Canada’s largest insurance companies. In July 2015 Kelly joined Sutherland Mark Lawyers in Kitchener. Her current areas of practice include Corporate and Commercial Law, Real Estate and Wills and Estates. As the current President of the Waterloo Region Law Association, Kelly is the chair of the Library and Finance Committee, the Bench and Bar Committee, the Corporate Law Practitioners of Waterloo Region (CPOWR) and is a member of the Governance Committee.

Stephanie has been a trustee since 2014. A lifelong resident of Kitchener - Waterloo, Stephanie obtained her B.A. in Geography and Political Science in 1987 from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. After a 2 year break for travelling and waiting tables, she attended law school at University of Ottawa. Since her call to the bar in 1994, Stephanie has been a sole practitioner practicing exclusively in criminal defense work. In past years, she has served on the board of directors of R.O.O.F and K-W Counselling and currently serves on the board of Waterloo Regional Boxing Academy. Stephanie is a member of the OCJ bench and bar, the Golf Tournament and the Law Day committees.

Angela Salvatore graduated from Brock University with her B.A., with Distinction. She continued her studies at Osgoode Hall Law School, earning a J.D. Post-articles, she practiced in the areas of domestic family law and child protection in the Niagara Region for five years, including as a sole private practice practitioner in Niagara Falls. Upon leaving her position as in-house legal counsel at the Children’s Aid Society of the Niagara Region, she completed a full-time Master of Law (Taxation) program at Osgoode Hall Law School. She has continued her advanced legal degree education at Osgoode Hall for a second Master of Law (General) degree, on a part-time basis.
She works on all aspects of dispute resolution as it relates to taxation matters. Such resolution includes being involved in the representation of individual and corporate clients at the audit, objection, and appeals’ stages at the Tax Court of Canada. Angela deals with matters under the Income Tax Act, Excise Tax Act, Employment Insurance Act, and Canada Pension Plan.

Newly elected at the April 24, 2012 Annual General Meeting of the association, David is a graduate of McGill University and was called to the Bar in 1991. A long-time resident of Kitchener and Waterloo, he is a KW Chamber Environment Committee member with an interest in supporting our vibrant local bar stay in tune with the Region's needs for legal services. David's law practice focuses upon such issues as professional negligence, breach of contract, employment law and debtor-creditor disputes. As a new trustee, David will serve on the Website Use and Guidelines Committee, Promoting Waterloo Region Committee and the Law Day Committee.

Elected to the Board in April 2011, Alexandra graduated from McGill University in 1995 with a B.A. in Political Science. She completed her LL.B. and her LL.M at the University of Kent in Canterbury and her solicitorship training at the London College of Law. After 8 years of living in the UK, Ali returned to Ontario and was called to the Bar in 2002. Ali is an associate at Dietrich Law Office and her practice focuses on disability law. Ali is a member of the Hellenic Canadian Lawyers' Association and a member of the Nominating Committee for Womens' Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF). Ali is a member of the Law Day Committee and is also sits on the Bench & Bar Committee.
